Join us for the Ancient Cities of the Future Celebration, presented in partnership with Global Lighthouse Studios and New York City Public Schools – John Dewey High School.
This exciting student showcase celebrates creativity, innovation, storytelling, music, and the arts as students unveil their original Minecraft Ancient Cities of the Future projects inspired by ancient civilizations, sustainability, and future-focused design.
Throughout the event, students will share imaginative worlds and creative ideas that connect the wisdom of the past with possibilities for the future.
The celebration will feature:

A World Water Day Workshop with Cindee Rood
In celebration of World Water Day, Global Lighthouse Studios is hosting a special Water Is Life Workshop that brings together creativity, education, and global awareness.
During the workshop, students will create art inspired by the importance of clean water while learning about the real-world impact of water access around the globe. We are honored to welcome special guest Cindee Rood, who will share insights about the important work she is doing in Malawi and why access to safe, clean water is essential for communities and children everywhere.
This interactive experience invites students to connect art, storytelling, and global learning, helping them understand how creativity can raise awareness and inspire positive change.
