Bouncin' Boppin' Blues

Get ready to move! Created by PreK students at Lenora B. Smith Elementary in Miami-Dade County Public Schools, Bouncin' Boppin' Blues is an original song celebrating all the ways we travel and move through our world.

As part of the Little Blues Rockers program, students explored transportation through music, storytelling, rhythm, and creative expression. From buses and trains to airplanes and cars, young learners worked together to write lyrics, share ideas, and perform a song inspired by the things that keep our communities moving.

This joyful project is part of a collaboration between Miami-Dade County Public Schools, the Keeping the Blues Alive Foundation, and Global Lighthouse Studios™, introducing students to the power of music and creativity at an early age.

A special thank you to Sandy Ayala for helping bring the students' ideas to life through music, and to Shawn Gonzalez and the Keeping the Blues Alive Foundation for supporting meaningful music education experiences for young learners.

Splish Splash Blues is Here!

Our amazing PreK students at Bel-Aire Elementary in Miami-Dade County Public Schools became songwriters, performers, and ocean explorers through music!

As part of the Little Blues Rockers program, students collaborated to write and perform an original song inspired by ocean animals and life under the sea. Through rhythm, storytelling, and creative expression, these young artists discovered the power of music while having a whole lot of fun.

Little Blues Rockers is a partnership between Miami-Dade County Public Schools, the Keeping the Blues Alive, and Global Lighthouse Studios™, introducing young learners to blues music, creativity, and the arts through hands-on experiences.

A special thank you to Sandy Ayala for helping bring the students' ideas and lyrics to life through music.

We would also like to extend our sincere gratitude to Shawn Gonzalez, President of the Keeping the Blues Alive Foundation, for his leadership, vision, and support in helping bring this project to life and expanding access to meaningful music education experiences for students.
